There are so many different types of hardware out there now, it is hard to just pick one! So, I didn’t. I decided to go with 4 styles for my kitchen and several different sizes. It was a gamble, but I think it paid off.

For the island, I painted it Tricorn Black from Sherwin Williams and I just love brass and black together. I chose Restoration Hardware for all the hardware. The quality is super nice and heavy… and the price is middle of the road. It is not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but it looks and feels expensive. Plus, their brushed brass is the perfect color. I didn’t want something too bright or yellow. I wasn’t looking for bright gold or for it to look brand new either. I also liked that I could mix multiple styles and they would all coordinate.

For all the lower pulls and a few uppers, I chose the Atelier Pull in their Polished Burnished Brass color. I bought the 18″, 12″, 10″ and 6″ sizes. For several of the small box drawers and my pantry I used the matching Atelier Knob and I chose the largest size they offer, size large.

For a majority of the upper pulls, I chose the Camden Pull also in the Burnished Brass color. I bought the 8″ and 6″ sizes. To match those pulls, I also bought the Camden Knobs in the size large. I love these pulls and knobs because they have a vintage look to them.

Love my hardware!!

When ordering from Restoration Hardware, it pays to be a member! I got these with member pricing. It also helped ordering these around the holidays. They all went on sale and I feel I got a great price. Although hardware can be a huge expense, it also is the jewelry and final touch to your kitchen.
